Origin

Habitat

It inhabits the lower level of Saladares, where it supports periodic flooding of seawater. Normally on clay-silty soils. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009).

Population data

In the census carried out in 2002, 13 groups of individuals were estimated in Lanzarote occupying an area of ​​13,500 m2 and a large group of 34,800 m2. In Fuerteventura a group of 4,000 m2 and in Lobos 3 large groups occupying 23,500 m2. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
