Present practically in the whole of the island of El Hierro, North and East of La Palma, Center and North of La Gomera, practically present in the whole of Tenerife, and Central and North of Gran Canaria.
Humid environments, especially where the soil is flooded or runoff. It occurs in areas of the Monteverde. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
