Hoheria Populnea Lacebark
Quick growing small NZ native tree. Grows well as a hedge line on most sites. The oval leaves are toothed and some selections can have very purple backs to the leaves. Has deep green foliage set off by the prolific number of white flowers from late summer and into autumn. Wood Pigeons will eat the foliage tips when food is scarce. Prefers moist soil but will tolerate most soils.
