Malawi aloe with bright, deep green leaves and stemless, solitary to slowly clumping rather otherwise non-destinctive species. Leaves 18" long and rosettes spreading to somewhat upright. Teeth small, hooked and very sharp, reddish on whitish bases. Flowers in winter are on a branched inflorescence and normally capitate to a nearly flattened raceme... however, my plant was growing in shade so I suspect the fact mine did not have raceme shape was due to its mild etiolation... or I have a hybrid or the wrong plant? Flower color is a deep scarlet. The flowers on my plant look exactly like those on Aloe cameronii.
