Re: Aloe parvibracteata
another of the myriad of green spotted South African aloes... this one is not terribly unique in my experience, but it is still an attractive durable easy plant with nice tall flowers. Except for flowering time of year, I would not be able to tell this one from Aloe zebrina... though from a different location. This plant is also native to Mozambique. Stemless, solitary to usually suckering and distinct spotting (rarely that smudgy spotting other green spotted aloes often have). Large, brown ,fierce teeth. Flowers are on top of tall, narrowly branched inflorescences in mid winter... flowers on open conical racemes of pink-red.
