Amorphophallus Maximus x A. Variabilis - Unique Plants

This is a new World's first hybrid, performed by Steve Jackson - Australia. 

The tuber produces a graceful, umbrella-shaped leaf growing to about 70cm high. The leaf remains above ground through spring and into Autumn, re-emerging in the Spring.

The petiole of the leaf is a stunning painting of white blotches, burgundy, green and sometimes even pink.

A magnificent plant even when not in bloom!!!

When the tuber is large enough, it will produce an array of bloom colours, similar to the amazing blooms pictured. It is overall burgundy on colour, often with large white pigmented areas, a stunning Hybrid!

Some species of Amorphophallus have offsets attached to it. In nature these detach to grow new plants. The offsets may detach or break in the mail, this is normal. Plant them in spring to grow new plants!
