Oxalis triangularis, also known as the false-shamrock, is a perennial plant native to South America. It is a hardy plant that goes dormant in cold conditions, but will re-emerge from tuberous rhizomes in the spring. The purple leaves react to ambient light levels and will fold like an umbrella at night. Light lavender flowers appear in stark contrast to the dark leaves.

  • Temp. 50 to 85 degrees
  • 6 to 8 in. tall,
  • Do not allow to get completely dried out/water when slightly dry
  • Keep damp but not soaked
  • Likes higher humidity
