  • Distribution: Indo-Malesia and Australia
  • Description: Prostrate herbs. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets obovate. Flowers axillary, pink to violet. Pods 3-5 jointed, joints hairy or glabrous, reticulate-veined.
  • Habit: Herb
  • Habitat: Grasslands and moist deciduous forests, also in plains
  • Flowering & Fruiting: July-December

  • Properties & Uses: Cooling and expectorant. Whole plant is used for dysentery, diarrhea, cough, bronchitis, wounds, sores and burning sensation.
