Inter have agreed personal terms with Lazio forward Joaquin Correa and are hoping to complete the signing of the Argentine soon.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that an agreement has been reached with the player on a deal worth a net of €4 million per season in wages, though an agreement is yet to be found with his current club.

Correa is now the Nerazzurri’s top target for a striker before the end of the transfer window following a knee injury to Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram, and the club are ready to put €30 million towards his signing.

The Biancocelesti are still holding out for €35 million and have so far rejected the offer of a €5 million loan fee plus a €25 million obligation, though the clubs could come together before the transfer window closes.

The player for his part only wants Inter, and having rejected a move to English side Everton and agreed terms with the Nerazzurri his mind is made up.
