Cultural notes: Full sun, boggy conditions, long-lived, very hardy.
Maintenance: Prune to remove dead material and to promote new growth.
Tolerates: Inundations and dry periods.

Flower colour: Brown clusters form near the ends of the leaf blade.
Foliage colour: Blue grey-green, smooth cylindrical shape.
Height: Up to 1.2m

Plant spacing: 50cm apart
Recommended uses: Used for edging dams and waterways to help with bank stabilisation. Also an excellent ornamental plant for ponds that provides habitat for water birds. As a feature plant and for mass plantings.
