Cultural notes: Full sun, most soil conditions, dry conditions, fast growing, long lived, very hardy.
Maintenance: May be pruned annually to remove spent seed heads in late summer and to encourage new growth.
Tolerates: Drought conditions, frost hardy, heavy grazing.
Flowering season: Late spring to summer.
Flower colour: Fluffy green to purple tinged seed heads.
Foliage colour: Leaf blades are flat and linear shaped, coloured light green with flecks of purple.
Height: Up to 0.8m
Plant spacing: 30cm apart for mass planting.
Recommended uses: Excellent for mass planting, borders, rockeries and as a feature plant. Also used effectively as ornamental grass for landscaping or revegetation.
