Information
Height 15 feet. Branches rather pale, terete, glabrescent. Leaves elliptical, caudate-acuminate, wedge-shaped at the base, chartaceous, ranging up to 4 1/2 by 1 7/8 in.; lateral veins 3–4 pairs, slender, depressed above; petiole about 1/8 in.; stipules 1/4 in. long, puberulous. Flowers about 1 in. long. Calyx 3/8 in. long; hairs pale golden. Bracteoles ovate or lanceolate, acute, imbricated, shorter than the calyx.
