Habitat: A ruderal species common near roads and disturbed ground.
Distribution: Native from the Mediterranean region (Europe, Turkey, Northwest Africa) to Switzerland according to the Plants of the World Online portal.
Lifeform: Annual (therophyte according to the Raunkiaer system) or biennial.
Flowering period: Spring.
