Abstract
The entire tropics are generally radiation surplus areas of the earth because of the equally favourable radiation conditions in the area between the tropics. They give off energy to the high latitudes through atmospheric circulation. Nevertheless, there are radiative climatic differences between the humid and arid tropics. Despite these differences, the uniform irradiation conditions the tropics to be the primary Earth‘s heat belts. They are an area of thermal uniformity. Most striking of tropical rainforests is the large number of wood species, but also very diverse other lifeforms and extremely rich fauna. Tropical rainforest are the most complex ecosystems.
