Abstract
A new species, Lindsaea pietrobomii (Lindsaeaceae), from the Brazilian Amazon is described and illustrated. It differs from the other simple-bladed species of the genus by having the base of the leaf blades obtuse when juvenile and cuneate when mature (never with sinus), the blades flabellate, and the costa up to one-fifth the blade length. An identification key for the simple-bladed species of Lindsaea is also provided.
Resumo
Uma nova espécie, Lindsaea pietrobomii (Lindsaeaceae), da Amazônia brasileira é descrita e ilustrada. Difere facilmente das outras espécies com lâmina simples do gênero por apresentar base da lâmina obtusa quando jovem e cuneada em espécimes maduros (nunca com enseios), lâmina flabelada e costa com até 1/5 do comprimento da lâmina. Também é apresentada uma chave de identificação para as espécies de Lindsaea com lâmina simples.
