    Description
    Profusely branched herbs, clothed with soft hairs. Leaves to 3 x 2.5 cm, obovate, crenate, pubescent below, fleshy; petiole to 1 cm. Spikes terminal, to 7 cm, tomentose, bracts 8 x 5 mm, ovate, mucronate, punctuate with red glands, deciduous; calyx pubescent out side, upper orbicular, ciliate, the lower 4 toothed, 2 mm; corolla tube 5 mm, lower lip 5 mm, blue; staminal tube 8 mm; style 1.5 cm, stigma bifid.
