      Erect subshrubs; stem ribbed. Leaves pinnate or bipinnate, to 16 cm long; leaflets 6-8 x 3 cm, ovate, acuminate, serrate. Heads 18-20 mm long, oblong, in loose corymbose cymes or solitary; bracts 8 x 2 mm, 2-seriate, oblong, acute; outer ones ciliate. Flowers outer whorl ligulate; limb 5 x 3 mm, oblong, 3-lobed, white. Inner flowers bisexual; corolla tubular, 5-lobed, yellow, lobes obtuse; anthers obtuse at base. Achenes 16 mm long, linear, glabrous; pappus 3, retrorsely barbed, spinescent.
