Leaves elongate, clasping; spikes of highly fragrant, salverform, waxy, white flowers, 3-6 cm long; perianth of 6 tepals, bending near base.

Polianthes tuberosa exists only in cultivation. Flowers single, or double with twice or three times the number of tepals.
