Throughout my childhood, I showed attachment to my birthplace, and very early on, I recognized the qualities of life it offers. Over time, these same qualities have proven to be a potential for the development of a tourist destination. My adventurous spirit and interest encouraged me to show this potential to the public. The first step was starting the high school project Don't miss Klis, whose main goal was to define the direction of development of the tourist destination and branding. Later on, my commitment was recognized by the head of the local community when I joined as an external collaborator, managing the official channels of social networks and writing articles about interesting topics related to Klis. Furthermore, I managed all the crisis communication during the COVID-19 pandemic, which taught me the importance and consequences of sharing the proper information within the local community. - Manage room reservations and room assignments,
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all guest information,
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities and local attractions,
- Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately,
- Balance room and revenue reports on a daily basis,
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and reception area,
- Participate in the hotel's emergency response team and follow safety and security procedures.

This role helped me build strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Show less

Firstly I worked as an Office Clerk as part of compulsory professional practice for one month during the summer school break. Since I loved the work atmosphere and management was satisfied with my work, I started tour leading as a student in the first year of my Bachelor's. It's a temporary, seasonal job depending on the school calendar, which I could combine with my other commitments. I am passionate about travel, so I enjoyed working here, where every tour is like a new personal challenge. I traveled mainly to different regions in Croatia and participated in outbound excursions, mostly in the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria. Le Meridien was my first encounter with a big-time player. The management of the greatest hotel in Split has chosen me to join their team as the youngest person ever working in the Reception Department. My everyday duties included communication with hotel guests and visitors in three languages: English, Italian and French. This working experience was crucial for future networking and outstretched my later opportunities.
