The ZZ plant is native to East Africa and thrives in a warm climate. However, they are well-loved for their extreme adaptability, making them a perfect beginner plant. ZZ plants grow upward and adorn deep green waxy leaves.
Watering - One of the things that makes this plant a fan favorite is its drought-tolerant nature. If you peak into the soil, you'll see potato-like rhizomes that act as a water storage system for the plant. Let the soil go dry for a few weeks between thorough waterings.
Sunshine - Zamioculas Zamiifolia are known for their ability to survive in extremely low light, though they are happiest and will produce the most growth in bright lighting. They do not require direct sun.
