Geranium × magnificum (purple cranesbill)

Geranium × magnificum (purple cranesbill) is a species of hardy flowering herbaceous perennial plant in the genus Geranium, Geraniaceae family. It is the result of hybridisation between Geranium platypetalum and Geranium ibercum. It has lobed leaves with violet-blue flowers in summer. It is suitable for cultivation in temperature regions. This plant has gained the Royal Horticulture Society's Award of Garden Merit.
