Though the common name Angel’s Wing Begonia is used for many Begonia species, Begonia coccinea is a gorgeous flowering species whose leaves look ready to take flight. The underside of the leaves are a deep red color so folks often choose to display them up somewhere they can admire the coloration on both sides of the leaves! These plants produce beautiful blooms year round which can be left on the plant or clipped and displayed in floral arrangements. 👼

It’s like a tree and with speckled leaves. Blooms all year round. So easy to care of. The trunk is like a bamboo.

I got this one at a Lowe’s and when I repotted it I realized the people who planted it put 3 seed pods in it. Which is fine but the plastic containers the seeds came from were killing it’s roots b/c they never took them out before selling it.

Ive had my angel wing for about a month now i believe and it’s already pushing on 5 new leaves! It’s a wonderful plant that has beautiful foliage. They can sometimes get a bad rep for being “hard to take care of”. however, mine is pretty easy-going and has had no troubles as of yet :)
