Strawberry Pinto Bean Phaseolus Vulgaris Seeds

Packet of 10+ cool looking bean seeds!
It is generally a hard to find variety, and here is plenty to get you started.

Delicious cooked in so many different ways!

I like the immature pods and mature dry beans boiled in soups, stews and chilli based meals. A Mexican, Caribbean and Spanish food necessity.

Perfectly match any chilli dishes, curries and salsa.

Very easy to grow, and large returns off just a few plants.

The stems, shells, pods and the root system all releases valuable nitrogen into the soil feeding nearby plants. I always plant a couple when I do a new trellis for vines like Bitter Melon.

That way they can give me a few beans, and feed the Bitter Melon vine at the same time. Then, when they are finished and you have harvest heaps of beans, which is at about the same time the Bitter Melon starts to flower, I use the dead bean plant as a mulch to give the Bitter Melon a real boost, and in turn, give me much bigger healthier Bitter Melon fruits!

Works the same with Luffa, Hairy Melon, Eggplant, whatever really.

Genius hey!!!

The finished plant rots down quickly and is great for providing “humus”.

Carbon, fibre, nitrogen, phosphorus and a myriad of other micro nutrients needed for ideal fruit development, right there at the base of the plant, right when it’s needed.

Just stick a few in the ground now, then again next week the next week and you will always have some available to chuck in a meal.

Needs no real care to provide a heavy return…. Just wack them in the ground and wait.

Choice stuff really!

Grown by us organically, no nasties, no chems, no problems!!!
