Alyssum serpyllifolium is a species of phanerogamous plants of the brassicaceae family; some subspecies (ssp. pintodasilvae, ssp. malacitanum) are able to accumulate nickel in large quantities in their aerial tissues (hyperaccumulators) and can be applied in natural phytoextraction of nickel.
