Lotus conimbricensis Brot., it is an annual herb up to 5-15 cm, glabrescent, slender, erect or ascending. Leaflets obovate or rhomboidal, stipules oval, extending beyond the petiole. whitish flowers with purplish husk, small, solitary on peduncles always shorter than the leaf. Calyx bell-shaped, with lanceolate-acuminate teeth, longer than the tube; orbicular standard, equal to the wings a little shorter than the keel. Pods 30-40 mm, very slender, narrowly linear, arched above, spreading, with numerous seeds. Life Form: Th, Flowering in: Apr-Jun, Vern:————, Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Madeira, Medit. Notes: Wild in Libya.
