Morphological characteristics Common Daisy / Bellis Perennis

Common Daisy is a perennial plant that grows up to the height of 10 to 15 cm with rounded rosettes and short creeping rhizomes. Its leaves are 2 to 5 cm long and grow flat on the ground. The head of flowers is usually found single at the end of a sharp and angular stem. These flowers are small to medium in size and white, purple, pink, and blue. It has basal leaves in rosettes or alternate leaves at the lower part of the stem. The leaves are heart-shaped or stipulate or circular and have vertical hairs on both sides. The roots of this plant are cylindrical and short.
