Description
Dwarf Sagittaria (Sagittaria subulata) is a commonly available, hardy aquatic carpeting plant that is perfect for beginners. They can grow quite tall underwater, up to 40cm in length. With a minimum tank size of 10L, it can be grown in a nano tank, but it’s best to be grown in a large tank.
Sagittaria Subulata are root feeders, so they need a nutrient-rich substrate to propagate and thrive. Sagittaria subulata spreads by producing runners, which will spread and form a carpet in your aquarium floor. These can also be cut off and be planted in new, desired regions.
