Duguetia echinophora "Mata Roma" Seeds

A fruit widely consumed in the interior of the northern states of Brazil, known as Ata Ameiju, it is a fruit much appreciated by traditional Brazilian populations, especially the elderly.

With its red skin with pseudo needles and strong orange pulp, this fruit, in addition to being very beautiful, has a sweet flavor reminiscent of carrots.

This is a variety with medium fruit and a small tree, practically a bush, with early production.

Variety discovered and found in the municipality of Mata Roma, state of Maranhão in Brazil
