This is a unique looking aloe from Mozambique. It is a short, but thin-stemmed aloe with decumbent stems, very long, narrow, shiny, bendable but fragile linearly spotted maroon to deep green straight to recurved leaves. Leaves are lined with prominent light/white teeth. Flowers in winter are on comically long peduncles that are usually so long they fall over and end up leaning on surrounding vegetation. Flowers racemes are so open, it is hard to call them racemes... more just individual flowers here and there along their skinny unbranched to minimally branched stems. Flowers are reddish fading to light pink at the tips with some striping along the length of the flower.
