Choris’ popcorn flower (Plagiobothrys chorisianus var. chorisianus, Boraginaceae) in San Mateo County, CA. This is a 1B.2 California Native Plant Society ranked taxa, which means it is fairly endangered in California. I caught it at just the right time of year to see it at peak flowering.
