Common Name The Sulphur-Yellow Schizochilus

Found in Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia and Mozambique in very wet montane grasslands and wet peaty seepages on rock at elevations of 2000 to 2700 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with ellipsoid tubers giving rise to a leafy in the lower part stem carrying 3 to 8, linear, narrowly lanceolate to lanceolate ligulate, acute leaves that blooms in the later summer on a, ti 2" [5 cm] long,, conical becoming cylindrical with time, drooping, densely to 17 flowered inflorescence
