Found in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Gulf of Guinea Islands, Cameroon, Gabon and Congo as a dwarf sized, fan-shaped, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect stem completely enveloped by leaf bearing sheaths carrying 6 to 10, arranged in a fan, rigid, fleshy, apically rounded, flattened leaves that blooms in the fall and winter much longer than the leaves, many bracted, slender, racemose, 8 to 10" [20 to 25 cm] long, densely several to many flowered inflorescence.
