Duranta erecta L. (syn: Duranta repens L.); kam poko che'

Shrub with arching branchlets; leaves opposite or clustered in short-shoots, often toothed towards the apex, but sometimes only remotely so (if at all); flowers in racemes, violet (but sometimes fading in bright sun), white near the throat, bilaterally symmetric; fruits somewhat pear-shaped, yellow-orange at maturity.
