Characteristics: Rosy pussytoes, which also goes by the common name littleleaf pussytoes is a slow growing,mat forming perennial, with grey green foliage and compact clusters of white and pink flowers. Flower stems grow to 12 inches tall with pink and white flowers. Flowers are attractive to a variety of pollinators. One source indicated that the butterfly, the painted lady, is quite fond of this species.
Cultivation: This species grows in full sun to light shade. Sources indicate that it will thrive best in full sun. Plants prefer a well drained soil and are intolerant of overwatering.
